What boring stuff do you want to know about Dan? Well, he's very handsome! Is that good enough? I didnt think so. Well Dan is from Milwaukee for those of you that dont know. He's got the midwest blood running through him as thick as the beer in his liver. Brewers, Packers, blah,blah,blah. Dan loves to talk about that crap. We pretend like we care when he yaps about it, but what really care about is that he is a super cool guy and he never creates any drama. Super easy going guy. But when he gets on a board and puts his headphones on, it's over. In other words he SHREDS! But really, did you think he didnt?

This week wasnt too bad. almost nursed my leg back to full health. harbour was in town so that was fun. he almost got ran over by a car but it was alright. skated street saturday, then skated parks on sunday. it was a good sould-shred. watched the packer game. devastating loss. crazy way to end the season.

New year! i'd love to be optimistic but whatevs. new years day me and greg harbour were on our way back from san diego when my tire blew out on the freeway. good times. january 2nd i get my tire fixed, get an oil change, then go to urgent care to find out i have a staph infection from my leg. also a good times. january 3rd.... me svitak and greg go up to LA. traffic is fantastic in LA. skated a spot but couldnt make it happen. greg came up tho. january 4th... home early from work cuz the medication for the infection make me loopy as hell. 2010 kills it. good things are on the way. i can feel it.

The long christmas weekend was pretty wild. worked xmas eve, then headed out to the infamous rincon school with chad knight. smashed my head then got out of there. xmas i was lounging all day. then saturday me svitak and greg harbour skated in san diego. people got moves. i got smashed again. almost gutted myself on a rusty bolt. got lucky. heres a pic of my leg. glad i missed that bolt! been working this week... babying my leg. bout to have another long weekend. hopefully i dont smash myself again.

I went back to Milwaukee, WI for a week. Shredded almost everyday. It was a really nice trip. Now it's back to the real world back here in San Diego. Went skating last weekend. Hit some spots with some good friends, then went to a park. good times. Sunday the plans fell apart. Today it was storming out really bad and it was awesome!

'm on vacation! well, hanging out back in milwaukee, wisconsin. Been skating the parks out here and hanging out with the friends and family. I miss this place A LOT. I have another 5 more days here, but I feel like there are still a lot more people to see.

This week went pretty well. Getting back into the shred zone. Getting the special meter back up. well..... everything went well besides spilling a cup of orange juice on my laptop. Not one of my finer moments. now half of my keys stick really bad. But it should be okay. This saturday Svitak, Knight, and a few friends went out and got some tricks. Same with Sunday. It was a productive weekend. Cant wait to get back to milwaukee in less than a week! I'm gonna be lurking suuuuuper hard.

This last week started with a few more days of work up in Fontana, CA. Fixed some bikes, and hit up the hotel bar a few more times. Got some good BBQ at Famous Dave's then it was back down San Diego. Still been nursing my hip back to health but i skated the Plan-B park on a few lunch breaks. It wasn't too bad, but i gave my knee quite the beating! Saturday I went down to San Diego State University to skate a handrail and some cops showed up. We got the hell out of there... but now we gotta get back over there again. Sunday I went out with Chad Knight (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!) Kristian Svitak and our buddies Dave and John. Pretty fun session. Now it's back to the 9-to-5 tomorrow (or 9-to-6). This week I had to go up to Fontana, CA for work for 3 days. It was a bit rough. got over to Dave and Busters for a night tho, so that was fun atleast. The weekend was a bit mellow. went to a doctor to get my hip looked at. Have a hematoma, which is basically a bunch of blood built up in my hip. Gotta take care of it for a while, and if it doesnt work out I get the thing drained. cant imagine thatd feel too good! Well..... back to work early in the morning tomorrow. Back up to Fontana again. Pretty spectacular. I included a picture of my sisters dog on halloween. That little guy is a good sport.

so, this week was pretty uneventful. Been nursing my foot and hip back to full strength. I have a little monster floating around in my hip. the thing is ruining my life!!! But I got up to Costa Mesa for the weekend to watch the Damn Am contest at Volcom. Some dudes were ripping super hard. Besides that I watched a little football and cleaned 50 pounds of trash out of my car! But checkout the FKD bearings website for this whole week to see Chad Knight ripping! Also I think I have stuff going up on the Berrics website this week too. hopefully nothing too embarrassing.

so this week... hmmmmmmm. sent out a lot of boxes at work and rearranged some pallets. it was a GREAT time! Tried to light up spots again after work and got kicked out everywhere. I stand by my opinion saying San Diego is burnt! lighting up spots doesnt fool the olice. they know that trick already. i guess we all need to go to china to skate nowadays or buy our own warehouses to build a park. Cant wait to get back to milwaukee for thanksgiving!

So this week was pretty crazy. Worked, one day up in the desert but then the weekend came in pretty hot. Headed up to LA Friday night. Went to a few crazy bars up there and had a pretty late night, but we caught a LA street hot dog on our way home. best thing ever. Woke up early saturday to do some shredding. Went over to Rob Dyrdeks Fantasy Factory first thing. The place is amazing. Shredded for a bit with some friends, launched into the foam pit, and played some basketball. It was pretty amazing. the most fun I've had skating my entire life! We hit the streets after that. it was a lot of fun. Went to a taco cart for some amazing tacos, then to another mexican place for more tacos! There we ate beside "Meredith" from the show THE OFFICE.
Came back down to San Diego Saturday night. Then got a shred on with a few friends, but it was more checking out spots than actually skating them. Seems like San Diego is getting more skate-proofed everyday. It's getting pretty hard to skate anywhere. Pretty crazy weekend but it was a ton of fun! Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen!

Hey guys. Sorry I missed an update or two..... been pretty busy moving into my new apartment. pretty much settled down now. Been out shredding a bit, now that my heel bruise has chilled out a bit. Got a few clips today, also got my sand down my pants. hopefully everyone gets to see that soon, cuz it is pretty amusing. It's back to work tomorrow. sunday nights are always a little bitter sweet. And some useless info for you.... the green bay packers play the minnesota vikings tomorrow night. Mr. Brett Favre might get his head ripped off tomorrow by his ex-teammates. I'm probably the only person who cares, but just in case...! And a music recommendation for this week is THE DEAD WEATHER. It's Jack White from the white stripes and the singer from the kills. I like to say everyone hates my music recommendations but these guys are pretty awesome!

This week was pretty tight. been nursing the bruised heel a little bit but i think its getting a little better. friday me chad and kristian went out to yuma, az to do a demo over there. it as a hot one but it was fun. the kids were great. a pretty good time overall. sunday went on a shred with svitak chad and our buddy mario. everyone got some clips. now this week is gonna be pretty busy. gotta move into a new apartment. hopefully its not too hectic.

YOOO! Haven't had too much going on for the last few weeks because of an atomic bruised heel. It keeps going away and coming back worse than ever. I'm hoping to HEEL up really soon tho! Annoying ass injury! Besides the heel bruise things have been ok. Got up to CROSSROADS at Zero and skated there best trick contest. been going to some BBQ's and lurking on some shredding. Actually went to San Diego today, but hurt my heel on a manual pad. It was embarrassing, but i'll survive. Also, right now the Green Bay Packers are playing the Chicago bears. We gotta get this! But i'm sure no one cares but me. And as for "Music I like, but no one else wants to listen to"..... checkout an LP from Modest Mouse that came out about a month ago. Its called "no ones first, and you're next".

So over the last week I have been cooking a ton. Had to go to see a few more docs but hopefully all that crap is over with. Went skating the other day and got the worst heel bruise i've ever gotten in my life! Or maybe I'm getting soft. Either way.... those things suck! Here is a new old video to check out. The footage is from about 3 years ago when I still lived in Wisconsin. Svitak was flowing me some stuff, and in return I had to show him that I was still skating everyday. BUT Wisconsin has a nasty winter so I'd have to send him a bunch of park footy. Enjoy....or don't. At least I'm not making music recommendations, cuz no one wants to listen to the crap I do!!!

So I've been a little caught up out here and haven't been able to write anything good. sorry! Sooooo.... I got back to Milwaukee for my sisters wedding. It was a good time. But before coming back to San Diego I ran into some health issues. Been seeing a million doctors since then. But it should all work out fine. My cousin also got married up in LA, so i got to see 2 wedding in just 2 weeks. pretty crazy. Finally got back on my skateboard this weekend out in orange county with mugz, david, Danny Stemper, and Peter Watkins. It was a really fun weekend. those guys are a blast to skate with. Now i go back to work tomorrow, then back to see a few more doctors too. should be a good time!!!!!

So.... I just got back to San Diego but the rest of the guys are still on the road. The entire past week was dedicated to street skating all over Ohio. A shit load a good moves went down. Some of them can be seen in the 3rd video update on www.shredordie.com . Also, if you get a chance, check out www.thrashermagazine.com to see some interviews that were done while in the van. they are quite funny. I have a hard time remembering specific events or i would try to be entertaining with some stories. I am blowing it. Anyway, here are a few pictures i took. nothing too special, but i guess it's something.

Tour is around the corner, so I have been taking it easy. Had a few sessions but nothing too heated. Just been running around trying to tie up loose ends before heading out on the adventure. A few things planned this week. Gonna try to skate Plan B park a few times before leaving, then cook a few good meals before switching to gas station grub and Fazoli's, then perhaps a session at the Berrics if there's time. Maybe even catch a San Diego Padre's game. Who knows.... I really don't. Short week for me at work and I can't wait to get out of there for a bit.

BLOG, BLOG, BLOG! word of the millennium! This week was action packed. First of all, I worked Monday thru Friday, of course. But Monday night I went to Encinitas for a surprise party for Jordan Hoffart turning pro. He rips. The Powell video played too and that ripped too. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I skated the Plan B park on my lunch break. Nice 30 minute power shreds.
For the weekend.... Saturday was busy. Got some work done on my car that put the hurt on my bank account. Then met up with Svitak and headed to Temecula to shred a sick ditch. It was pretty fun. After that I got word that the Aggrolites were playing at the Innes warehouse so I headed there for some music, brew and pizza. Those guys are rad.
Sunday was exciting. Went out on the shred to Orange County with Rhino, Jared, Sascha Daley, Aldrin Garcia, John White and a few other guys. It was rad. Got 2 trick, so I'm psyched. The first trick killed a few boards. Kept hitting the kink on a handrail too hard and snapping the shred sled. Broke the 1st board, then cracked the 2nd but kept skating it, but broke it on another part of the board. Then the 3rd I cracked but landed it a few tries later. The rail was giving me a hard time.
Now it's memorial day, and i'm not doing a thing. watching the nuggets hopefully take out the lakers. so far so good!

Yo. worked all week, but skated Plan B park during lunch every day this week. Things are coming together. Then Saturday I got a clip over a hip in a ditch, then went to Lutzka's for a BBQ and party. it was a lot of fun. Sunday I BBQ'd at a buddies house, and watched the Lakers game, and the Celtics game. Too bad the Celtics couldnt make it happen. Back to work tomorrow. not too excited. RIP A.J. we will miss you

Did way too much this week. Worked all week, but got a lot of skating in. Woke up early and skated the Carlsbad skatepark before work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Then skipped lunch and skated the PlanB park Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Had some heated games of skate with my buddy after work on Tuesday, and Wednesday. Also had a good BBQ after work on Monday. This daily schedule update blows. Went over to Greg Lutzka's place Friday night to hangout with some friends. Saturday I went skating in San Diego with Lutzka, Nick Palmquist, and my buddies Joey and Mike from milwaukee. Then went back to Lutzka's at night for a party. Had a heated battle of darts with Jake Duncombe, but in the end Jake took me out. Fun night. Sunday I got a day to relax, to give my messed up back a rest! Interesting week. Back to work tomorrow. Should be exciting.

This week I got back into shred mode. skated a park out here before work at 8am. only 1 kid there so i was psyched. Did the work thing all week, then on friday went to a BBQ at my buddies place. His family was in town. It was a good night. everyone got chuffed. Saturday and sunday I shredded with svitak and a few other friends in vista. got a lot of sun. Good to get back into it!

Beware, i feel a little loopy. Last week i flew to south carolina for work. long ass week. worked a million hours and lifted a million boxes, not a lot of time for shredding. Got back saturday night and chilled out. for sunday, everything started super mellow. took care of a whole lot of errands ive been putting off. It helps get stuff done when you wake up at 5am cuz of rediculous jet lag. a super random day turned into a mission. ended up getting a clip so I was psyched. here are a few warmup tailslides Jeff Z. shot. (who also filmed the stunt) Hopefully the clip will be up here soon. thanks for helping out Jeff! The spot is called "the shit grinder'. The ground is kinda like powder poo. wasnt to psyched to fall in that. hopefully hydrogen peroxide really does work. back to work tomorrow. should be a good one.

way too much to write about this time around. My parents were in town all week for easter and my birthday, which was wednesday. Getting too old now. We ended up going out to Hensley's bar for some food. then I broke off and got smashed with a few friends. Had to work the next day. It was pretty painful. Saturday I went to a BBQ at Kyle Leepers place with a friend of mine. Lots of good people over there. It was pretty sick to see Chad Bartie, and Richard Angilidas over there. Really cool dudes. Had a really good time.
Sunday I had to fly out to South Carolina for work. Our first flight got delayed, which led to us missing our connecting flight, which led to us being sent to Chicago. Then that flight was delayed, which caused us to arrive at our destination at 2am. But after that we had a 2 hour druve to our hotel in the worst rain I have seen in a while. Oh ya....our luggage was lost too. Got a few hours sleep then had to work in a warehouse. I am here til atleast friday night. Kinda missing san diego right about now. Especially since i just went to the gas station to get beer and got denied. I guess I am not the same guy that is shown on my ID. I'm off on a beer mission! so lame.

Had a hard time getting thru the workweek, but my parents are in town so it makes things better. They rented a condo just off the beach in Encinitas. It's a really nice place. Been spending the weekend with them, eatting awesome food, and walking on the beach. Good to take a little time off from the daily grind. As for this week, we have a few birthday festivities planned. Besides that, I'm being sent back to the desert by my work for a few days. Then the week after I get sent to South Carolina for 6 days to do the same crap. Things are getting really hectic. trying to chill out for a second before the shit hits the fan. The picture is of my sister hanging out on some rocks. take care.

This week was productive. Had to work in Fontana for monday, tuesday, wednesday, and friday. Got pretty burnt out. But our bosses put me and my buddy in a nice hotel so it was pretty relaxing. Saturday morning I drove up to Huntington Beach and met up with Nick Palmquist, Joey Beaver, and our buddy Matt. We went up to skate a spot in Compton again. I had to refilm a couple trick. It was good. Then Headed to a LA Dodger game. Got to watch the Milwaukee Brewers walk all over them! Sunday I kept it mellow. Went to a pizza place and had a few pitchers. Then headed to the beach to throw around the football
Today (monday) I took off work to go up to the BERRICS in LA to film some tricks. Got pretty torn up but got some good stuff. hopefully everything works out and you can see it up on their site. It was cool meeting some guys over there. Berra is super cool. Salmon Agah was there, Patrick Melcher, Paul Shier, Heath Kirchart, Daniel Castillo, and Reda. Quite the all-star crew. It was good. I am sitting in Huntington Beach when I should be working. It doesnt seem fair! I could get use to this!

Last week I worked my normal week at work. Got a night in at the syndrome skatepark with chad knight. We filmed some stuff over there for FKD. hopefully everyone will be able to see it soon. Saturday I went on a mission up to Orange County and it was a disaster. skated the new hot OC spot. got a trick but then about 6 sheriffs department police rolled up and searched everything. It was not fun at all. they kept us on a curb for about an hour and ruined our day. Sorry matt, and jeff! Sunday, headed down toward san diego with svitak, Tom and chad. had a good time, and we got some clips. it was sick. Right now I am sitting in a hotel in Pamona, CA which is pretty much in the middle of no where. Work sent me and my buddy up here to fix some stuff for the next 3 days. Our hotel is super nice and we get loot for food. I'm pretty psyched....kinda. Work is work tho.

Tis week i worked the normal 9-6 crap. Skated syndrome park after work one night, then went to a sick BBQ friday night. Saturday I skated and got a clip and a sequence. Got kinda beat up. So today I was too sore to skate. chilled at the apartment all day. Back to work tomorrow.

So I checked out this site today and realized that I was the shit-head that didn't send in an update when everyone else did. I'm turning into a real pile of crap. So this week....hard to remember this stuff after it happened. So went to some bars, blah, blah, blah. Pretty sure no one cares about that. Work....blah, blah, blah. I bet no one cares about that either.
On saturday I went out with a few friends to some mellow spots. Learned a few new tricks on a ledge. That night had a BBQ and I went out for a few drinks and, blah, blah, blah....you know how that goes. Sunday morning I cruised down to Starbux then headed to the coast, with my buddy danny, to people watch. Good way to start the day. But then had a hard time finding someone to film some shit, so the day started and ended at the beach. I wasnt too excited about it. Did laundry, chilled out. That was it. living the dream.

It's the time of the week for the update! This week my supervisor at work was on vacation, and those responsibilities kinda fell on me. A pretty stressful week for sure but at least it's done. Saturday I had a hard time finding anyone who wanted to skate so I went to a few local spots solo. It was actually pretty nice, since everywhere i went there were like 10 other skaters. Sessions everywhere!
Sunday went really well tho. Went out filming with Jeff, around carlsbad and oceanside. Got maybe 6 good clips for the next video! I was psyched. The last few weeks have been pretty insane, but being productive made things a lot better. Hopefully the next few weekends go like this.

Sorry for a late update but i just got back into San Diego at 5am this morning. I skated PlanB park a ton on my lunch breaks again this week. Feels pretty nice to shred a bit during the week. I headed up to Huntington beach late friday night. Then on Saturday we went out and skated in Inglewood with Nick Palmquist, Joe Krolick, and Joey Beaver. Palmquist had a sick slingshot setup to get a shitload of speed for a street version of the mega-jump! it was gnarly. Kinda kept it mellow that night, until my buddies decided they were gonna build a firepit on their back pourch. Fun night. Sunday some plans got a little mixed up and we ended up skating a flatbar. Learned a bunch of shit on that. Then we headed to a skatepark in Westminster. cruised that for a bit and learned some other new stuff on a manual pad next to the park. I was psyched. Passed out on a couch in Huntington that night. Woke up in the middle of the night and decided to get the drive back to
San Diego done. NowI am now at work typing this. Back to the real world over here! Had my bacon and coffee for breakfast, now I'm ready to roll!

Soooooo.....here we go. skated Plan B park a bunch this week on my lunch breaks. It was sick. Then saturday I headed up north to skate with a bunch of people. We skated some spots in Compton. It was pretty sketchy but shit got done. We were with quite the crew. Ryan and Scott Decenzo, Adam Dyet, Pommier, Sascha Daily, and Paul Trep. All those dudes ripped super hard. Good times for sure. Got a couple tricks too, I'm psyched. Raged that night and went out to a few more spots the next day in El Segundo and LA. Then We headed to LAX to pickup Lutzka and headed back to huntington beach. I just got back to Carlsbad a minute ago. gearing up for the workweek starting tomorrow.

This past week was a little rough. A lot of different things were going on at once and things got hectic. Had to work M-F, same shit as usual. Then I went to a Oakley fundraising event/party at the Oakley headquarters. It was for a motocross rider that died this week, Jeremy Lusk. It was a lot of fun but I don't really agree with partying after someone dies. A pretty bitter sweet night, but it being a fundraiser made me feel a little better. For Valentines day I went over to Greg Lutzka's place. A pretty lame holiday for a 22 year old single man, like myself. At least it's done now. Went skating with Svitak saturday. He got some good stuff. Right now it's sunday night. been chilling out for most of the day, trying to recharge.

hey there! So it has been a pretty rough week. Did the work thing. then tried to light up a few spots during the week. the first turned into running from the cops. I didn't have time to let the lights cool off so it was prety sketchy. Pretty glad i didn't blow up my car. Went out the next night to try to light some other spot up and it wasn't working out. The spots I had in mind had "jail" written all over them....although it was at night. It rained pretty much all day saturday...totally pissed everyone off. But it rains in San Diego like once every 4 months so I'm sure we will survive. As for today.......shit! Skateboarding has high "highs" and even lower "lows". Spent a few hours battling for a trick that never happened. Got totally frustrated but that'll happen I guess. Back to work monday thru friday. Should be some good times. Hopefully more productive but you never know!

I've been blowing it on these updates, so I have to kinda wrap 2 into 1. Well,the weekend before last i took a little bit of a spill (see the video below - 1031 web guy) and because of it, had to work this week with my arm in a splint. Some kind of compression fracture in my arm bone almost right on the wrist. I go back to the doctor tomorrow to see what they want to do for it. They said no skating! suuuuure, no problem doctor.
Now on saturday I went up with svitak, knight, and flow dude greg to do the demo in Riverside. A dude dislocated his ankle right infront of us. It was pretty intense. Good way to start the grand opening of a new skatepark....shit. Sunday I went out the svitak and greg to a few spots. had some fun. good shredding

pretty mellow week. got caught up at work which is really good for me. Skated this weekend with Svitak, Knight, Daxter Lussier, my roomate, Tom, Jeff Z.....with guest appearances by Chany and Kenny Hoyle and other KAO dudes. It was pretty sick. Got a clip so I'm happy. So all the other dudes on here suggest music to listen to....well, i dont because i'm sure no one really likes my music. I put on some "club favorites" in the car with kristian and he veto'd it. So I'm still gonna lay off the music suggestions for when everyone is bored as hell! Also, Kristian ran over chad's phone this last weekend. it was pretty funny. sorry chad. it was bad karma for stealing my socks.3 months cigarette free...stoked!!!

sorry bout being lazy with the update last week. Not a whole lot happened. Filmed a good trick in huntington beach. Had a few mild sacks on the handrail. fun stuff. Then I spent most of this week at work in a cold warehouse super sick. Were short a person for a lil while or i woulda kept my ass home in bed. Went to a few spots with svitak, knight, and harbour today and saw some gnarly shit go down. It was "sick". Then chad stole my socks.....then my hoody and hat. after that we had a backside noseblunt challenge. It's on-going! Yur goin down Chad!!! When you lose you owe me 3 pairs of socks! I bet none of this makes sense to anyone. I wouldnt expect anyone to understand. Anyway, checkout the Feb. issue of transworld. This sequence just came out. Svitak has a spread too. I could probably write a book about the last week. Work was standard, but were doing inventory. We'll be counting shit for the next week or two. X-mas eve i headed to Huntington Beach after work. Can't remembered what happened, probably partied. X-mas day was rainy as hell so Danny Stemper and myself made a little vid with the help of Beaver behind the cam. Then a feast was prepared......ribs, potatoes, beer, and beans. Day after x-mas Beaver, kyle terbush and myself shredded. The next day was intense. Beaver and myself met up with Rhino, Lee Dupont, Scott Decenzo, Ryan Decenzo, Chad Bartie, and Antoine Asselin for a shred in San Diego. Got a good clip and photo. Everyone was killing it, was super fun. Then headed up to LA that night for a party in Thousand Oaks. Shit got weird. Lots of drama but it was a really fun night. Got back to Huntington Beach today (sunday) and realized that my car got towed. So 170$ later i have my car back and i'm back in
Carlsbad. good times. Thank god for a good christmas bonus! Back to work for a full work week starting tomorrow. can't wait for a fresh year. 70 days cigarette free!!!!

hello everyone! So this last week..... it rained a lot, so I went to the Plan B park for lunch this week to get the blood flowing. Then I got sick for a few days. Working in a cold ass warehouse doesn't help at all. This weekend everything got put together at the new apartment, and also made a few trips to Hensleys pub. good times! And my buddy would say, "the beers are flowing good!!" Jeff B. made a re-edit of my 1031 part, and it was posted on www.thrashermagazine.com really stoked on that. check it out if you get a second. that's about it. Still cigarette free since October 21st!!! might be out of the woods! Maybe i'm just a troll!

sorry for the late update. been really busy the last few days. just moved into a new apartment in Carlsbad, so that occupied all of my time for the entire weekend. and i havent found a good wireless inet signal to steal from, so i gotta do this all by cell phone. finally got a chance to skate over at the Plan B park yeserday with chad. it was raining super hard and still no one was skating the park. i was super psyched. hopefully next week i will be able to come up with something more spectacular.

not really sure where to start with this update. I'm super late with this thing but i haven't been home in like 4 days. Not a great excuse but it might make for a better story! So, last tuesday i went up to huntington beach to visit some special friends. Driving back to work the next day always blows. Then worked the rest of the week like a normal person. Saturday night I went to Lutzka's house for a party. We ended up going to Ryan Sheckler's house shortly after. Super fun night. Tight to see Travis Pastrana there, and some of his friends riding a motorcycle thru the house. was psyched. Went back to lutzka's afterward then made it up to Huntington Beach again after that. Slept the whole next day then kicked it at night with some friends. Stayed up the next night....which meant racing to work again for monday morning. I never enjoy that. someday i will learn my lesson. For now, i'm happy I'm young. After work on monday we had our company dinner. Got a
good meal, and they had an open bar. good times. went to the Saloon in Encinitas afterward where shit got weird. Ran into an old roommate, a friend got kicked out, and another friend passed out on the bar....then on his kitchen floor when we got back. got to work the next day tho. Now i finally got home...thank god.its been a long and exciting weekend. I feel like an idiot. Probably killed a million brain cells. but it was super fun!

This week I didn't do a whole lot. Worked a couple days but i got thanksgiving day off. Went skating but didn't do anything fantastic for dinner. Kinda lame but life goes on. The day after was optional at work. I didn't go in but I don't think i really did anything anyway. I think i just watched "home alone". good flick! anyway, friday night was tight. Went over to Lutzka's place. He is filming a show with Benji Madden from Good Charlotte, so the night was pretty amusing. People got hammered and thrown into the pool. Lots of broken cell phones. Sunday I went out early with Matt Mecaro and jeff to a rail in San Diego. Got something good there. I'm really psyched on it. hopefully it'll be ran sometime soon. Now I am sitting in my room watching a Jurassic Park marathon. I'm on the 2nd one right now. I love movies!

This week at work was pretty turbulent. Much more than usual, especially Thursday. So me and my buddy danny went out and had a few drinks then met up with a few people and headed down to a place in Leucadia. It was fun until we had to go to work the next morning. It was a very rough Friday but we somehow made it thru the day. Took it easy Friday night so I could skate Saturday. The original plans got changed so I made what I could out of the day. Went to a spot, and got worked jumping over a handrail. Cops came to the spot so me and filmer Jeff hid around the building, then got the hell out of there. Saturday night I went to my buddy Danny's place and had some of our lady friends from Huntington come over. Another fun night, until waking up the next morning and realizing I got 3 hours of sleep on a couch and was going to San Diego to get a trick. Got a little bit of a nap in, then headed down to a rail for a trick. Got pretty torn up, but couldn't get
it. Maybe next weekend it will work out. Overall, the weekdays dragged on but the weekend made up for it. I love it.

As for last week, not a lot happened. Worked everyday, then skated the Plan B park a few times on my lunch. It was a lot of fun. Sessions with Chad Knight are always fun.
Original plans for skating saturday were cancelled because of the wind. But got to a spot with Svitak. It was good to get out.. Headed up to Huntington that night for a little rowdiness! Then Sunday the Green Bay Packers shit on the Chicago bears 37-3! It was pretty awesome since I have a few good friends from chicago who have been talking shit on the packers for months. and i won a 20$ bet off one of them! It was so bad that the announcer said "we are switching to another game because this one is no longer competitive". So sick.
sooooooooo.......i am sitting in Huntington Beach debating my plan for the rest of the night. Stay here, party, then drive an hour to work in Orange county rush-hour traffic to work in the morning...? Or just play it safe and head home tonight. I'm thinkin about staying here. Could be a bad decision. Not sure yet.

i am at work again doing the update. we'll see if i get away with it again. last week was pretty quiet. went to the plan b park and watched pj ladd and ryan gallant skate. those dudes are good! but then saturday went on a super mission up to get a trick on a rail toward LA. the rail was knobbed then got lost in long beach and huntington beach cuz my GPS took a shit on me at a bad time. but got to the spot in huntington and there was an event so we went to another spot. got a trick there so the hours of driving werent for nothing.
sunday.....did nothing. washed my car, watched football, cleaned the bathroom, did laundry. recycled some beer cans. mellow day. it was the best. it was super windy out tho. so i guess its ok.

So i totally forgot to do the update yesterday, so i am doing it at work right now on my cell phone. my boss is standing right next to me and i'm not sure why she is allowing this. well...cant really remember anything from last week til friday. that was halloween for all those people that forgot. we had our premiere at hensley's bar in carlsbad. it went off without a hitch thanks to everyone who came out. went to a houseparty afterward. it was good. g.g. was running down the street in his breifs after all this. he totally played the part of g.g.! the next day i made into a hangover day. did nothing til that night, when a svitak, harbour, jeff and a bunch of other people went to the beach and had a bonfire. good times. sunday our skate session kinda got rained out. i love the rain!!! much more than other people do now. i'm back at work for the week. and my boss just accused me of using her cell phone to call someone. i didnt do it. but i DID just finish the update while on the clock! sweet! day 13 cigarette free as well....so stay out of my way cuz i'm being a huge bitch.

Okay, lets do this! Happy birthday to my Dad first of all. His birthday was the 21st, which was also the day of my last cigarette. I'm goin' on about a week now, and i am totally being a pain in the ass. So, after getting out of work Friday, Danny Stemper and I went to grab some beer from "the beer cave" and played dice with a few buddies. After I lost all of my money I headed to Greg Lutzka's house for a party. It was goin' off! A lot of my friends from Huntington Beach came down and made it fun. At one point i blacked out and woke up in my car at 7am. No clue what happened. Big ass house and i passed out in my car? Impressive.
Came back down to Oceanside for the day, but then headed back up to Lutzka's that evening. A lot of the same people were there, but it was waaay tight. Some body shots were goin on while the sun was coming up, then some hot tub shenanigans followed. Slept on a floor and that was it. pretty much slept the rest of the day to catch up. From what I hear, in Mugz b-day today....so if yur reading this, happy birthday.

Yoooo! Another one of these things. So this past week a whole lot has happened. It was actually pretty productive. Lit up a spot after work and got a few clips during the week. that is definitely rare. But then the weekend came...and the partying didn't. Equally weird. Got a couple more good clips over the weekend. Ben was also in town. It is always fun to skate with that "ultimate monster". Pretty funny to watch Kristian and Ben go at it as well. That's about all I can think of for now. I have also been on the "2 cigarettes a day program". Almost time to kick the habit completely and turn into a huge pain in the ass for a while. BEWARE!

This week I made the adjustment from being on vacation in Milwaukee, to being back to work in California. Not a whole lot has been going on. Tried to do some skating but we have something called the Santa Ana winds out here, and it is pretty annoying when you're trying to flip your board. Went up to Huntington Beach Saturday night and it was "horney" as fuck up there....a lil inside joke right there. Besides that, I've been trying to quit smoking. I feel like a bit of a mental case right now. I guess that'll happen from time to time.

so I had a 3 day work week because on thursday i flew back to Milwaukee, WI...where I am writing this from now. Arrived Thursday and started out with some drinking at a good friends house. Friday, headed to the ole training facility 4seasons skatepark. It's usually fun over there. Saturday I visited my family then headed to a Milwaukee Brewers playoff game. It was super rowdy. It was insane. They won that game but lost the next day so they are knocked out of the playoffs. The Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay packers also lost. it was a tough weekend. So today is my last day here and I have way too much to do, since i feel like i havent done anything here so far. This trip is bitter-sweet. I'm in town just long enough to remember what i'm missing out on.
I also forgot to mention in last weeks update that I had 2 burnt out headlight simultaneously. Does that ever happen? and its not great that I found out while driving at night!

work sucks. weekend came soon enough. the weekend was weird. stayed in san diego for saturday then headed to huntington beach later saturday and all of sunday. But.....kristian loves it when i talk about my favorite sports teams from milwaukee, wisconsin. I am gonna make sure everyone hears about it. although brett favre plays for the NY jets he still threw 6 TD passes sunday. it was tight. The brewers lost sunday...BUT handled on sunday, and with the help of the marlins winning made it to the playoffs (will be attending a game this weekend in Milwaukee!!!) The wisconsin badgers football team also lost in a crazy game that came down to the last seconds. oh well!
But i wanna add that the cleveland browns and cincinatti bengals also played. they were both 0-3. cant remember who won, but congrats to everyone in ohio for experiencing their 1st NFL win this season! Chad and kristian will probably kick my ass for talking smack on their ohio teams but i'm pretty sure i'm the only one that cares about football!!!
I would also like people to know that i had a near-death experience involving a dart flying over my head into a wall. It's all good joey! I just thought it would make this entry a lil more interesting!

WORK BLOWS! ya....made the journey up to Huntington beach this weekend. Left friday night. Did the same old routine up there, not too productive. Skated a spot on saturday and just couldn't get it done...then drank a few delicious golden beverages.
Sunday... woke up and got some food at a kick ass deli, with my favorite neighbors. Or should i say my favorite weekend neighbors! Then skated the same spot from the day before and got kicked out quick. went to another spot, and the cops came. Kick ass southern california shredding. then skated a manual pad in a park with joey beaver, kyle terbush, and danny stemper. good times, but i'm over the california fuzz! also....a moment of silence for my sisters dog "kirby" who got ran over by a car today. he was a young dude. shit's weak.

Fuck ya! It's update time! Worked this week monday thru friday.....DUHHHH! I shouldn't even be starting these things on such a downer! I will do my best for next time.
As for the weekend, it was ok. Kristian, Tom, the roomate Brian, filmer Jeff, and myself went to a spot and got hassled by a humane society "officer" and had to call the cops on ourselves. It was pretty sick, and I hope Svitak has the story with his update. If he doesn't, I will elaborate. but it was entertaining. Also, saturday night a rat almost ran up my face. It's hard to explain....but it's the truth!!! I was scared shitless! Sunday we skated around but this time Chad got in on the fun. Had a good time but I'm pretty burnt out.

Another update! Sooooooo....I worked about 60 hours this week. One day was on Saturday. I wasn't too excited about doing it. Lacked a bit of energy needed for the "long" weekend. Nothing too insane happened Sunday. Chad, Jeff and myself skated around town. Lets move on to a crazy Monday!
My roommate, Brian, and I met up with Chad and Jeff to skate San Diego. Figured Labor day would help us skate downtown....WRONG. Got to a school in SD at around noon... got kicked out in 2 minutes. Went to another spot and conditions were pretty nasty. (i'd say more but some ones trick needs to stay on the DL) Went to another spot and got kicked out right away. Headed out of town a bit to another spot and the cops roll up and give us a hard time. First thing he says is "who is on probation and who is on parole?" What a pile of shit! It was 5 o'clock before we actually started skating! Something wasn't letting us do our stuff! Ended up going up to a 13 stair up north. It was a major slam session. Headed back up by our place after that and got to skate for a bit at our "favorite" spot. That's about all that happened. good stuff. back to the daily grind tomorrow. can't wait.

So here we are again. Had to work the regular work week once again. Not anything exciting or new in any way , but had to put in some overtime. I got a chance to skate with Knight and Raybourn at the plan b park for a few minutes during a lunch break. It was really fun to shred with those guys. Thanks for hookin it up maxwell! Besides that... stayed down in San Diego for the weekend. No random drunken retardation to report. I think those are the most interesting updates sometimes. Maybe next week! Anyway, I fell on a bee and killed it, skating some stairs. That was funny. It stuck to my shirt! Also skated a sewer pump station with Chad. It smelled like poo! believe me!

"Did the 9 to 5 once again this week. Nothing new. Friday came and I made my weekly trip up to Huntington Beach. Friday night was gnarly. Went to a house party in Fountain Valley. Super typical OC party. Can't imagine how many v-neck t's i saw people wearing but it was not my thing. They had a "self-proclaimed" VIP section roped off with caution tape. Can that get any worse? Yes, cuz the cops showed up.
Then Saturday we headed to a rail 1st thing. I took a bunch of spills, but on my last go my board landed on the bottom of the stairs primo and I fell on top of it on my thigh. Now I have a dead leg. I got up after a while to see 3 cop cars on the top. I wasn't stoked. Started the evening festivities super early Saturday cuz my leg was pretty much falling off.
I was pretty much sick of the day super early. It wasn't good. So I headed back to Oceanside suuuuuper late that night. Now here I am typing this update. I was a sloth today. Leg hurts, and nothing is going on. Not much of a weekend but I'm over it. Maybe better luck next week"

Work was crazy this week. Tons of trucks came for us to unload. More than we have ever had in the past. Headed back up to Huntington Beach Friday night. A bunch of people from Milwaukee are in town right now. It made for a fun weekend with a bunch of Milwaukee drunks!!! Skated a few Huntington and Laguna beach spots. It was pretty fun. Got a few clips. Just got back into town a few minutes ago. Time to gear up for another awesome week at work.

So I did the work thing this week, as usual. Was pretty sick for most of the week. But at one point this week there was an earthquake, I believe it was a 5.6 or something like that. I think everyone felt it but me. Been living in California for too long without feeling one of those. I guess I should consider myself fortunate.
So, once again, I headed out to Huntington Beach for the weekend. Good friends up there for sure. And Kyle Terbush and myself were destined to be beer pong partners. We handled business! Skated Saturday but nothing went down. After that we headed over to Greg Lutzka's house for a BBQ. Always good stuff with the people over there. Afterward, we went back over to Huntington for some more evening festivities. Sunday, we went to a few ledge spots in town to try to get a line. It wasn't happening. I was a lot of fun hanging out on the beach and skating perfect ledges with a bunch of OC babes lurking around. I love that place. Just got back to San Diego. Gearing up for another week at work. It's gonna be a tough one!

First, traffic is still terrible in southern California. I've been spending too much money on the toll roads lately! Work was lame this week! I guess thats why we are paid to do our job. Saturday was a little odd. Greg Lutzka had a party at a bar in Long Beach to film something for his Globe part. Globe paid for a $5000 bar tab. It was tight. Plenty of heads were in there. Chet Thomas, Pat Duffy, and Lil Jon are the dudes that stand out to me. The shoot was sick. you should see that video soon. The party went from 4pm to 7pm...which means it was still light out when we were leaving! I guess we didn't "leave". My buddy and I got dragged out by security at about that time. It was complicated. Something about jumping over a wall on the back patio. Something about partying while the sun is still out just doesn't feel good.
I apologize to the mom's and dad's reading this, cuz I'm probably not the best role model for their children! Hopefully my posts can be somewhat entertaining tho.
As for the skateboarding...these 2 pages were just ran in skateboarder and transworld. you could check them out....but you probably shouldn't! til next week,

This week was a little more productive, although it was pretty weird. Work was rediculous this week. We did battle with a giant spider that looked to be poisonous. I thought the damn thing was fake. Then after our fed-EX rep brought us free food for lunch, I dipped out to the NSS offices to meet with Jeff and Brett. Those dudes are awesome. Later that afternoon I headed to Huntington Beach to hangout with a good friend, also from Milwaukee! Good times
Now, finally, to the skating...
Saturday afternoon Matt Mecaro, Jeff Z.,"Winston", and myself headed to a hubba in Orange county. At first things didn't work out. Especially when a bus load of a couple dozen boy-scouts rolled into the parking lot to get picked up by their parents. Dude came up to me and said, "you don't think thats good for the stucko do you? maybe you should find a new spot"......well, we found a spot to buy a drink around the corner and returned after they left. Got some good tricks that you will hopefully be able to see. I was stoked (even more so after stepping in some of "winston's" poop) . And if you didn't already know, "winston" is a dog that jeff Z brought with to the session. He can be seen on the top of the hubba. He is a homie for sure, but he isn't too stoked on motorcycles.
Now it's sunday evening. My legs were too dead to really do anything. Cleaned the house, watched probably 3 Batman movies, listened to a little 2-pac, and drank a couple beers. Some might call me a "sloth". whatever! Back to work tomorrow.

Seems like everyone is out of town, or just lurking around somewhere. I have been filming the last few tricks for my part in the 1031 video and starting to film for another video project that you should see soon enough!
Yesterday I got out to try to get a photo and totally blew it. Kept eating it super hard. Flipping my board and it just wasn't there when I was coming down. Kept sliding on my back and I was over it! It was a long painful weekend but I guess things can only get better! As long as there is still beer in the mini-fridge, life will go on!!!
